Marion Street Services is hiring an experienced Construction Estimator and Project Coordinator to support both preconstruction and active project execution. This person will help own the estimating process, including initial bidding, maintaining price catalog, and pricing jobs accurately. This role will also organize project details, coordinate communication, and keep workflows moving smoothly from planning through handoff. It is an ideal role for someone who is organized, proactive, client focused, dynamic and flexible, and thrives in creating and implementing systems and processes.

Deliverables

Accurate estimates provided in a timely manner
Pricing models and catalog maintained to ensure current and relevant pricing for sales and operations.
Ensure profit is in accordance with MSS pricing standards.
Maintain a trade and supplier base that fulfills MSS current and future goals.
Owns the hand off of pre-constriction to construction
Maintains all project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, proposals, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates
Build and assemble bid packages within deadlines and budgeted hours
Coordinate subcontractor walkthroughs and follow up on pricing
Present estimates and budget summaries clearly to internal teams and clients
Continuous catalog updated and relevant
Assist the PM with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
Track project milestones, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Coordinate and support project managers with their communication with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
Schedule meetings, inspections, and site visits
Support procurement, material tracking, and project documentation
Maintain permits, compliance documents, close-out materials, and organized project records

Qualifications

3 to 5+ years of construction estimating and/or project coordination experience
Residential construction experience required
Experience working on older homes strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Professional, client-facing presence
Proficiency with Buildertrend and Microsoft Excel preferred
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Collaborative mindset and comfort in a growing, evolving company

Pay and Benefits

Classification: Full-time, W-2 employee
Pay: $75,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience
Post 3-month performance-based bonus
