Marion Street Services is hiring a Lead Project Manager to own project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. This person will be the main point of contact for homeowners, subcontractors, and field teams while managing schedules, budgets, communication, and quality. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, proactive, and comfortable bringing leadership, consistency, and sound judgment into a growing company that wants stronger systems and better operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day job operations across multiple projects
- Build and maintain job schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, walkthroughs, and inspections
- Manage client communication and respond to questions promptly
- Maintain Buildertrend logs, updates, photos, and project records
- Order materials and schedule deliveries in advance
- Manage change orders and communicate cost impacts before work proceeds
- Track budgets weekly and proactively address cost overruns
- Walk jobs regularly for quality control
- Partner with operations leadership to identify risks and solve issues early
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 or more years of project management experience in construction
- Residential remodeling experience required; older-home experience strongly preferred
- Strong scheduling, budgeting, and client-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High accountability, initiative, and follow-through
- Comfortable leading teams and maintaining professionalism
- Clients in occupied homes
- Buildertrend or similar construction software experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time role
- Classification: Independent contractor (1099)
- Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and workload, plus performance-based bonus potential
- Performance-based bonus potential tied to client satisfaction and project profitability
